What iconic scene should I do?
This a big concept I need to think of because, that is what I will be doing the next two months. I do not want to do a film that is either boring or not iconic to me. My group has decided to put up these requirements up:
- The Scene cannot overlay relied on dialogue, needs visual cues
- No pure action scenes
- The Scene has to be recognized by most.
- Less than 5 actors
- 2-3-minute scene
- No huge props
- To have fun making this
Analysis of a film to see if it fits the requirements:
Then after some debate with The Men in Black ignoration scene when Jay becomes agent J had problems. The problems were mainly derived from the number of cuts, practical sets and too much dialogue. The cinematography of the scene is mainly memorable because of the sets. With panning shots and pan downs. The scene requires more verticality than anticipated. The main reason for remembering the scene is the dialogue, what happens during it, not so much. The Scene is also too short only 1:21-minutes.
Men in Black (1997)
My group noticed we kept going down the science fiction path. So, I recommended The Matrix. Since we were in an indecision and The Matrix have a scene about decision, (which has become a meme) so that is what we decided to do. Here it is --->
The Matrix (1999)
This scene fits all of the requirements! The cinematography is mainly composed of simple back and forth. There is a bit of dialogue, but it should be fine. So, this is what I will be making a swede of.
