Comparison of Film-to swede first 3 types of shots: Implementation

Evaluation Criteria:

In today's blog we will be looking at the swede and compare it to what it was based on. The requirements for today include same angle, distance and general position of the actors and props. For the distance and angle, we need the general height direction of the shots, without this some of the meaning of the shots go away. The actors can be fully replicated so we do not fully ca replicate that presence. The props have the general area with what we have to do.

Summarized Criteria:

  1. Angle
  2. Distance
  3. General Position of Mise en scene

Scene Type One:

The first scene I will be doing first is the first I did while planning: Eye levelClose upLow Angle and Shallow Focus shot.
Attempted
Actuality
These scenes are almost purely identical. The actors are more forwards, but the scenes look similar enough. However, the glint of the glasses is coming from the wrong side counter argument the set regardless has that glint in other places.

Scene Type Two:

The second scene I will be doing first is the first I did while planning: Eye levelClose upHigh Angle and Shallow Focus shot.
Attempted
Actuality
These scenes both are on the same mise-en-scene of the film itself. The lighting is as close as we can get with the set up but in ours, we got more light on the left side of the face. Now looking closer at the scenes, I do not know if the camera was more zoomed or it was just actor's head. This does align with criteria but is shaky.

Scene Type Three:

The third scene I will be doing first is the first I did while planning: Wide Shot and Deep Focus shot.
Attempted
Actuality

In this scene the lighting did not at all matter. The mise-en-scene was effective with the bing on the lines. However the film has the bar lines to shrink the scene so that is the main difference. The Lighting is also non existant.

Recap:

All the scenes from the 1st three unique shots all had bad lighting. Which is something to Improve later on in life. But these scenes all work.
