Comparison of Film-to swede Last 3 types of shots: Implementation

This is a continuation of a previous blog:

Here is a link to the old blog for reference: The Procedures of Media. The learn how and making of a Film. 2025. But, we will be following the same princibles as before:

The Criteria that We will be Following Today are:

  • Angle; this allows us to make sure we get the feeling correct that the original had.
  • Distance; this can show the intensity and how vital the line is for the film
  • Mise-en-scene; this is used for following lines and reflections in the scene
This allows me to evaluate my cinematography to match it up with the original scene to see If re-shoots are necessary. These are mostly generalizations of the film. Warning, nothing is perfect.

Scene Type Four:

This forth scene I will be implementing the storyboard into the scene. The plan was to have the scene was composed of: Deep focus and Extreme close-up shot.
Attempted
Actuality
This scene now looking at it was made terribly. The lighting is way too bright. The angle is a low and not leveled. The Position of the camera is too much to the side. The distance of the camera is too close. The only thing that we got right was the basic position and colors of the pill.

Scene Type Five:

This fifth scene I will be implementing the storyboard into the scene. The plan was to have the scene was composed of: Eye levelShallow shot and Extreme close-up shot
Attempted
Actuality
This is one of the closer pictures to the actuality. The reflection of the classes has the hands, and the talent are on the right Mise-en-scene lines. The actor is however farther away from the actual scene with this offsetting the actual scene. The lighting again is front facing.

Scene Type Six:

This fifth scene I will be implementing the storyboard into the scene. The plan was to have the scene was composed of: Clean over and Close up shot

Attempted
Actuality
This scene is Mainly a problem due to the lack of prop which changes the effect. However, the cinematography of the scene mostly the same with the distance being similar along with the actor leaning in the scene. The Chair is how ever pretty similar.

What could have been done better?

In today's blog, the main problems of the shots are lighting, and slightly wrong angles/distance. The ways now looking on fixing this could have easily been to have more practice shots with the actual actors. These factors effected by the lighting and others of this nature could have been fixed if we went in a more controlled environment. But now knowing this we could, next time fix this issue by asking the director to worry about the lighting. With all of this complaining, some of you may think it is all negative-nitpicks. This scene allows us to improve and be better for the final.

Mistakes are natural. All 6 scenes were made to what we could do. The positioning is all good.
