Mirror Reflections in Filming-Research

Mirror Reflections in My Film

In the swede there is a prevalent emphasis on reflection. Specifically in the glasses of Morphius, with that reflection. The reflection that follow the character, Neo. Why dose he follow him, when he is not meant to the focus yet in the section. Why the reflection? Was it to make Neo always in a scene? We will look at how to use reflections in media to identify how prevent do we need to make the reflection in film. This will be talking about the mise-en-scene today and dose it really matters?

I broke down what was needed to understand the concept of reflection into 5 sections.

Creating Visual Depth

  • To draws one's attention to the relation in the room.

Symbolism

  • To convey deeper meanings and emotions.

Mood

  • To evoke a stronger emotion and tone.

Breaks up still environments

  • To add extra shadows, lighting and multiple ideas.

Foreshadowing

  • To foreshadow future events.

A Good Example of Reflection in Film:

Matrix (1999)
The irony, that one of the best reflections in film belongs in the scene as that follows the one we picked. This shows his reality breaking by breaking up the environment and symbolism.

What appears in the scene:

The reflections of mirrors in the film purpose were to foreshadow, symbolism and creating visual depth. Neo is always in the scene is because the story hinges on him, the chosen one. Morphius know this but Neo does not know this yet. This allows the relation grow more and is not a business meeting or neuatral. It also conveys that need hope that Morphius wants.
Now understanding this my group needs to implement the reflection as best as possible which is the editors' job, so that the end of it.
